In 1958, spontaneous Enlightenment (absolute manifestation of Self-knowledge) occurred suddenly within Param Pujya Dadashri. While waiting for a connecting train in Surat, Gujarat, a one-hour experience of universal Self-knowledge happened to Him.

 

In the course of this awakening, Param Pujya Dadashri attained ultimate answers to lifelong spiritual questions.

In the Gnan Vidhi ceremony, which Param Pujya Dadashri defined as an “experiment to separate the Self from the non-self,” He was consistently able to awaken His own spiritual state within seekers in merely two hours.

Until His samadhi maran (passing with spiritual awareness) in 1988, Param Pujya Dadashri traveled within India and abroad to conduct satsangs and Gnan Vidhi ceremonies.

 

The Gnan Vidhi (a two hour scientific process of Self Realization) is conducted by Pujya Deepakbhai all across the country and throughout the world. The satsangs are in a question-answer format and comprises of a wide variety of questions ranging from the subtlest spiritual to gross worldly issues / problems / doubts. The satsangs / Gnan Vidhi are complimentary, open to the public at large without any discrimination of caste, color, religion or creed.

 

Param Pujya Dadashri predicted that Akram Vignan would remain accessible through His successors for thousands of years. Before passing, He blessed Pujya Niruma and Pujya Deepakbhai with siddhis required to conduct satsangs and Gnan Vidhi ceremonies.

 

Each year, DBF celebrates Dada’s Janmajayanti at various locations in the country to commemorate the birth of Dada Bhagwan. The event is a 5-8 day event and includes a Theme Park and Childrens Park for kids, youth and adults, like us. Each one is uniquely designed to serve as a solution to problems we face in day to day life. This is done through theme based exhibitions, play zones, puppet shows, animation films and many other interactive activities.
